Our client is recruiting for a REVIT/CAD Manager to produce and maintain building information models/drawings to assist in the overall design and construction process. Manage the team, delivering drawings / models on time and within budget.

Accountabilities and key tasks:

– Provide projected costs, programme and scope of works for all projects
– Work from engineers/designers calculations, rough sketches or drawings to produce accurate and structured drawings
– To support the business technically by highlighting opportunities and minimising risk by providing policy, review, education and support at a level which takes account of unit capabilities
– Visit site as required in order to gain practical experience of installation practices and apply these to improve design effectiveness

– Customise and configure systems to specific company requirements
– Train and guide users throughout the introduction of systems into the business, supporting Branch staff as necessary
– Display a flexible approach to visiting design locations and sites throughout the UK in order to assist operational units with systems issues and to promote a Company standardisation of approach to design
– Have excellent communication between the department and the wider construction team

Who we are looking for:

Essential:

– Experience using REVIT MEP and AutoCAD
– Have a wide understanding of all MEP systems, how they are installed, commissioned and maintained
– Experience in M&E or Construction focused roles
– Knowledge of CDM regulations
– Excellent communication skills
– Be proficient in the use of various industry standard modelling platforms. Support other team members in the use of relevant software packages
