Our client employs over 60 engineers in their design department. They complete detailed mechanical and electrical design solutions on technically challenging projects.
Often employed direct by end users such as Universities or Hospitals our client is trusted with state of the art design of energy centres, plant rooms and associated building services.
These projects are typically very large and as such they require complicated designs including wide ranging electrical services, BMS control systems and HV.
The role will encompass electrical detailed design, site surveys, report writing, technical analysis, calculations, feasibility studies and conceptual reviews.
* Site (Hands on) experience would be a benefit but not essential.
* Ideally experience of:
o Building services
o HV knowledge
o Power systems
o Fire / Gas detection
o CHP / Generators
* Industry Background
o District Network Operator (Electricity Northwest ,SSE or Northern power grid are in the north west)
o Building services designer
o CHP manufacturer / supplier
