Our client is looking to develop and build their team and so they are looking for talented and highly motivated Building Services Engineers – with either a mechanical or electrical bias – to join their great team based near Old Trafford. They are looking for engineers at both Senior and Intermediate level. Subject to experience the roles will involve taking responsibility for all aspects of your own projects. This will involve undertaking surveys, carrying out the design of projects and ensuring that they provide a high level of service whilst maintaining project profitability. Senior Engineers mentor their less experienced team members to make sure that the design solutions they offer are up to the mark.
They want to hear from true senior engineers, perhaps currently running projects independently. You should possess excellent technical skills in mechanical / electrical building services design. A desire to develop your wider project monitoring, management experience and technical skills are important advantages. CEng / CIBSE accreditation – or working towards that goal – and BIM experience is desirable but not essential as the desire to provide outstanding service to their customers is what is most important. They are looking for communication skills, attention to detail and commercial acumen to go hand in hand with excellent technical abilities.
